यूपी डेस्कः राष्ट्रीय सड़क सुरक्षा माह के अंतर्गत गृरूवार को महाराणा प्रताप चौराहे पर परिवहन विभाग, शिक्षा विभाग, एवं यातायात विभाग द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक शिवराज ने सर्वप्रथम राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज बांदा एवं भागवत प्रसाद मेमोरियल इंटर कॉलेज बांदा के छात्र-छात्राओं को यातायात नियमों के पालन के विषय में जानकारी दी।

उन्होने हेलमेट का महत्व समझाया। इसी क्रम में परिवहन विभाग से सहायक संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी शंकर जी सिंह ने छात्र-छात्राओं को नाबालिक उम्र में वाहन न चलाने तथा बिना वैध लाइसेंस के वाहन ना चलाने की नसीहत दी। शिक्षा विभाग से मंडलीय मास्टर ट्रेनर डॉ. पीयूष मिश्र ने उपस्थित बच्चों को नोडल छात्र-छात्रा के रूप में आवाहन करते हुए अपने जागरूकता अभियान को घर से ही प्रारंभ करने का आवाहन किया तथा बिना हेलमेट दो पहिया वाहन न चलाने तथा बिना सीट बेल्ट चार पहिया वाहन न चलाने तथा अन्य यातायात नियमों की जानकारी दी। 

बच्चों को आम जनमानस तक ये संदेश प्रसारित करने हेतु प्रेरित किया। यात्रीकर अधिकारी राम सुमेर यादव ने उपस्थित बच्चों से अपने लेन में ही सुरक्षित वाहन चलाने तथा बिना मोबाइल फोन का प्रयोग किए वाहन चलाने का आवाहन किया। यातायात विभाग से यातायात प्रभारी राजेश चंद्र मिश्र ने यातायात नियमों के विषय में विस्तृत जानकारी दी। तत्पश्चात तीनों विभागों ने अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक शिवराज के निर्देशन में सहायक संभागीय परिवहन अधिकारी, यात्री कर अधिकारी, मंडलीय मास्टर ट्रेनर एवं यातायात प्रभारी ने नियमों के ना पालन करने वाले संभ्रांत नागरिकों को गुलाब का फूल देकर उनको अपने जीवन में सड़क सुरक्षा के नियमों का पालन करने हेतु प्रेरित किया।

UP Desk: Under the National Road Safety Month, an awareness program was jointly organized by the Transport Department, Education Department, and Traffic Department at Maharana Pratap Square on Thursday. In this, Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj first gave information to the students of Government Inter College Banda and Bhagwat Prasad Memorial Inter College Banda about following traffic rules.

He explained the importance of helmet. In the same sequence, Assistant Divisional Transport Officer Shankar Ji Singh from the Transport Department advised the students not to drive vehicles at a minor age and not to drive without a valid license. Divisional Master Trainer Dr. Piyush Mishra from the Education Department appealed to the children present as nodal students to start their awareness campaign from home and gave information about not driving two-wheelers without helmets and not driving four-wheelers without seat belts and other traffic rules.

Inspired the children to spread this message to the general public. Passenger Tax Officer Ram Sumer Yadav appealed to the children present to drive safely in their lanes and drive without using mobile phones. Traffic In-charge Rajesh Chandra Mishra from the Traffic Department gave detailed information about traffic rules. Thereafter, the three departments, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj, Assistant Divisional Transport Officer, Passenger Tax Officer, Divisional Master Trainer and Traffic In-charge gave rose flowers to the elite citizens who did not follow the rules and motivated them to follow the rules of road safety in their lives.
